Meet Mike Le Dang, part of the heart of our kitchen. Mikey came to us from Boralia almost a year ago. He taught himself to cook when he was a kid and then honed his skills at George Brown College. He would like to send a special shout out to his family for teaching him about sharing…something we’re grateful for because he brings us snacks all the time. Mikey has a special Valentine’s Day present for you and we can all vouch for it as we indulged in the results. There’s some really great tips in it that you can apply to other recipes as well. Enjoy! Jenny Warne, front of house

Meet Jenny Warne, part of our front of house team. She may look familiar outside of Midfield because she used to work at Tucana…a favourite local coffee shop. Jenny is an OCAD graduate and currently owns and operates a unique and intimate art gallery called Egret Egress. We are thankful for all that artistic talent as it also translates really well into describing wine. Jenny is reviewing one of our under the radar wines by-the-glass, 2015 Savoie Blanc, Domaine Dupasquier from the Savoie in France. (click here for review)
